Hi I'm Sherman Truss. I own and operate Sherm's Marine. I worked for 2 other marine dealers as a Mercury/Mariner Tech for approximately 12 yrs and in 1997 decided it was time to go on my own. Sherm's Marine was born...I built this dealership from the ground up with service...it is still the number 1 priority today. Over the last 20 yrs. I have become a Certified Mercury and MerCruiser tech and have since achieved Mercury Master tech level. The highest level possible as a Mercury technician. In 2003 I had the privilege to add Scott Bowman as an additional tech. Scott to date adds over 7 yrs. of marine experience on Mercury, Yamaha, OMC & Mercruiser products and is also a Certified Mercury tech. Since service is such a very strong part of our business I have also added the latest diagnostic tools available from Mercury including the CDS (computer diagnostic system) for quick accurate diagnostics of your Mercury products including the Verado outboards. To go along with the service and care of your Mercury products we have grown to become a MotorGuide service center for all your MotorGuide trolling motor service.
